Morten Bergsten
I start with what needs to be true
— not what we hope will work.
Outcomes over output.
If you can't say what changed for the customer, you shipped a feature, not value.
Context, not control.
I built 6 product teams. My job was to give them the problem, not the answer.
Most recently, I led a complete market pivot — rebuilding product strategy, team structure, and technology in parallel. In 11 months, we went from strategic decision to a customer running entirely on our system, replacing a 30-year incumbent. No parallel system. No safety net. I scaled the organization from 3 to 6 teams and built the discovery practices that made it possible to move fast without shipping blind.
Before that: EdTech transformation (185+ institutions) · Mobility startup, employee #4 (5 international markets) · Public sector innovation (400M annual trips)
My synthesized framework for product leadership — covering strategy, discovery, team building, and scaling. Built from years of practice across healthcare, EdTech, mobility, and public sector.
